Say it with flowers.....my day!

Yepeee...today is my day to show you what I made for the Blog hop...since flowers are my favorite topic and I never met a flower I didn't like, I figured this would be easy...surprise, surprise it wasn't ! The possibilities were endless...I could show you a thousand things with flowers but which one should I pick !?

Then the answer came to me when I saw this wonderful tutorial by Ina at Pattydoo I knew right away I wanted to make this pouch for the blog hop !
Isn't this the cutest little pouch you have ever seen ?? I love it !!!

Check out these adorable Box pleats.

The only problem was that the tutorial is in German ( not a problem for me but for my english readers) and I really wanted to share this with you ...so I contacted Ina about an English version of her tutorial ...I am happy to say she now has an english version ....now everyone can sew this adorable pouch !

You can find the tutorial ( with english subtitles)  " HERE"  and the pattern "Here"  ...all for FREE!!!
The pouch is super easy & fast to make, doesn't need much fabric....and is adorable !
You won't be able to only make one....I wasn't !!

I made a bigger version ( I cut the other & box pleat pieces 3" x 8") so that I could have it for a sewing pouch ....

...of course I added lots of pockets inside...a girl can't have enough pockets.

This pouch is addicting....I am already working on another one...

I am curious how many you will make ??

In case you need to see some more flowers...here are a few from my garden....

Please be sure to check out the other blogs in the blog hop....grab a coffee and have fun !

I went right over to her blog and downloaded the pattern. I also left her a thank-you message. It was so nice of her (and you) to let us in on the fun of making a lovely pouch of our own! Enjoyed your flower garden pictures, also!
